Traveling with a baby doesn’t have to be daunting. If you are already used to some level of logistics in your life (e.g. because you ski, surf, or travel a lot) you will be just fine.
One thing that’s helped us a lot is having a massive bag to pack all the baby stuff into; you do have to think about the weight, but in exchange you get the luxury of packing nice-to-have items that make your life just so much easier (e.g. a bouncer, nursing pillow, etc.).
